Astaroth : Key of Choice

This manipulation took me about an hour to make. The main concept of this artwork is choice between alliance and opposition. I browsed on Deviantart and I saw these demon seals which refer to the numerous demons of The Lesser Key of Solomon. Astaroth's was the most peculiar of them. Therefore, I decided to take it and adapt it into this surreal, yet extremely hellish and sinister atmosphere. It turned out like this, in a spontaneous way.

For the artwork, I degraded the colours after turning it in black and white. Then, I took the keys and modified the colours according to the background, same with Astaroth's seal. Also, notice how the colours have been corrected. It cannot be evident since it is, at the beginning, black and white. But, I wanted more "lighting" and effects on it to make it look more alive, flamboyant and realistic. The result was this.
